VP, Product Controller (Treasury)

About the role

Nomura is seeking a Vice President to lead Product Control for its Treasury function. Based in Singapore, the role oversees the integrity of daily and monthly P&L, balance‑sheet reporting and governance for Treasury and Corporate books across regional entities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall integrity of daily/monthly P&L for Treasury & Corporate books, providing senior review and sign‑off on revenue attribution.
• Manage significant P&L and balance‑sheet movements across regional entities, acting as the primary escalation point to the Funding Desk Head.
• Oversee regional issuance entity controls, identify gaps and drive remediation during month‑end and quarter‑end reporting.
• Partner with Treasury Desk Heads to optimise funding costs and enhance funding‑related analytics.
• Lead the design and enhancement of Unsecured Funding reporting, improving transparency and granularity for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Accounting, Economics or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in a Product Control function supporting Treasury or Fixed Income, including 3 years of team leadership.
• Extensive experience with treasury and money‑market products such as repos, deposits, FX swaps and interest‑rate derivatives.
• Proven track record of partnering with business leaders and influencing strategic decisions.
