VP, Talent & Organization Strategy

About the role

As Vice President of Talent & Organization Strategy at GIC, you will partner with senior leadership to shape the firm’s workforce strategy, culture and performance management. You will provide data‑driven insights and advisory support to the Management team and Board, ensuring the talent agenda aligns with GIC’s long‑term investment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workforce strategy and organizational design initiatives, using scenario planning and AI impact analysis.
• Interpret organisational health and engagement data, turning insights into targeted interventions.
• Align firm‑wide performance management, talent reviews and succession planning with evolving business priorities.
• Champion GIC’s culture, values and DEI priorities through enterprise‑wide programs and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, Executive Committee members and Board committees on people and organisation topics.
• Develop executive‑ and Board‑level materials, distilling complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, People Analytics and Talent Acquisition to deliver integrated, end‑to‑end people strategies.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in HR strategy, organisation development, management consulting or related fields within a leading global organisation.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise‑level human capital strategies and transformation initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking ability, from problem framing to design and execution.
• Demonstrated capability to influence and advise senior stakeholders, including Executive Committee and Board forums.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for executive audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑performing, fast‑paced and ambiguous environment.
