Youth Worker – Student Management (Contract)

About the role

The Youth Worker will join the student management team to investigate misconduct, support rehabilitation and promote a safe, inclusive school environment across the northeast region of Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations by interviewing students, victims and witnesses, reviewing CCTV footage and written statements, and preparing objective reports for the discipline committee.
• Maintain confidentiality and coordinate with external agencies such as the Singapore Police Force and Child Protective Services when escalation is needed.
• Provide one‑on‑one check‑ins and mentorship to students, monitor progress and engage parents or guardians in the rehabilitation process.
• Carry out regular patrols within school premises and surrounding neighbourhoods to deter rule violations such as smoking and vaping.
• Maintain accurate case documentation, prepare progress reports, coordinate with community partners and attend professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Diploma from a local polytechnic or equivalent, preferably in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with youths in a school, social service, law enforcement or community setting.
• Minimum 2 years of case management or investigation experience.
