Account Executive, Cross Border China

About the role

Stripe is looking for an Account Executive focused on cross‑border growth in Greater China. You will be responsible for turning prospective businesses into satisfied Stripe users by managing the full sales cycle and building strong executive relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own a named account list and create strategic plans to win and expand business with mid‑market and enterprise companies in Greater China.
• Develop outbound strategies, generate leads, and nurture opportunities through the entire sales process.
• Engage with C‑level stakeholders (CTO, COO, CFO) and coordinate multi‑functional teams to deliver product workshops and financial analyses.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to influence product strategy and develop joint sales approaches.
• Lead and contribute to projects that refine the sales process and build partner strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling to mid‑market and enterprise customers, preferably in fintech or payments.
• Ability to conduct business‑level and technical conversations with senior executives.
• Strong consultative selling skills and a track record of managing complex, multi‑party deals.
• Self‑motivated prospecting mindset and capacity to own the sales cycle from start to close.
• Curiosity about business models and a data‑driven approach to quantifying investment decisions.
