Analyst, Management Reporting and Financial Control

About the role

The Analyst, Management Reporting and Financial Control will support the Corporate Planning & Coordination team in delivering accurate financial reporting, cost control and KPI monitoring for Mizuho Bank Singapore. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and overseas branches to ensure data integrity and timely insight for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform managerial accounting tasks, including profit and asset adjustments.
• Retrieve, mine and analyse customer transaction data to make necessary adjustments.
• Prepare and present monthly funded‑asset and deposit monitoring reports to the Committee.
• Support budget, expense and KPI monitoring by extracting data, creating dashboards and assessing cost projections.
• Ensure expenses are approved, tracked and aligned with budgetary controls.
• Assist in supplier selection, procurement governance and change‑management initiatives.
• Provide ad‑hoc project management support as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma (fields such as finance, accounting, information technology or related disciplines are acceptable).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with multiple internal and external counterparts.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
