Assistant Store Planning Manager – South Asia

About the role

The Assistant Store Planning Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of new store openings, renovations and minor works across South Asia for Louis Vuitton. You will ensure projects meet the brand’s aesthetic, quality standards, timelines and budgets while collaborating with global and local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and communicate global design guidelines to ensure each store reflects Louis Vuitton’s aesthetic and quality vision.
• Manage the full project lifecycle—from conception, design development, procurement, construction to handover—either independently or with the Store Planning Manager.
• Identify opportunities for bespoke store concepts that meet local market needs while controlling cost, schedule and quality.
• Lead and coordinate architects, consultants, fit‑out and millwork contractors, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Liaise with local landlords, authorities and suppliers to secure necessary approvals and logistics.
• Conduct regular site visits, resolve issues promptly and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee logistics, customs clearance and direct orders from HQ‑nominated suppliers.
• Anticipate project risks, develop mitigation plans and manage crises when they arise.
• Travel frequently (approximately 30% of the time) across the region.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, high‑quality facades, interiors and store‑planning project management.
• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Project Management in Design & Construction.
• Experience in luxury retail design is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, methods and materials.
