About the role
Covenant Chambers LLC is seeking a Singapore‑qualified Associate or Counsel to join its Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions team. The role involves handling a variety of corporate and capital‑markets transactions and providing legal advice on commercial contracts and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist and lead on public and private M&A transactions, private‑equity investments, IPOs, placements and rights issues.
- Provide legal advice on SGX listing requirements, corporate disclosure, governance and ongoing compliance.
- Draft and review commercial contracts, employee share schemes, and restructuring documents.
- Support capital‑markets fundraising exercises and regulatory filings.
Required profile
- Singapore‑qualified lawyer with 2–6 years post‑qualification experience.
- Experience in corporate and capital‑markets transactions, including M&A, private equity, IPOs and rights issues.
- Familiarity with SGX listing rules and corporate governance standards.
- Strong legal drafting, communication and analytical skills.
