AVP Audit Manager – Global Consumer & Private Banking Lending

About the role

The Assistant Vice President Audit Manager will lead audit engagements for OCBC's consumer, small‑business and private banking segments (excluding Indonesia). Reporting to the Group Functional Head and Group Portfolio Lead, you will provide independent, risk‑based assurance and actionable insights that support the bank’s governance and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on credit‑risk and non‑credit‑risk audits across the designated banking businesses.
• Manage audit teams to ensure engagements are completed on time, within budget and to the Group Audit standards.
• Prepare comprehensive working papers that document audit procedures, evidence and conclusions.
• Identify root‑cause issues, evaluate internal controls and deliver practical, sustainable recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss findings, monitor remediation progress and enhance control environments.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIA) or equivalent experience in banking audit.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and challenge assumptions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently and maintain audit independence.
