AVP – IT Audit (Group Audit)

About the role

As an Assistant Vice President in the Group Audit function, you will join the Technology and Digitalisation (TAD) audit team to deliver technology audit engagements that align with UOB’s internal audit methodology and regulatory expectations. This role blends technology expertise, data analytics, and audit judgement to provide assurance across the bank’s evolving digital landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technology audit engagements covering IT infrastructure, technology controls, and related processes.
• Execute audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, issue follow‑up and closure in line with internal audit standards.
• Support the rollout and adoption of Continuous Auditing initiatives across technology audit areas.
• Collaborate with auditors to develop data‑analytics use cases, dashboards and automated routines for sampling, anomaly detection and insight generation.

Required profile

• Recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in technology domains such as Windows, Unix, AS400, firewalls, network devices, databases, security operations or application delivery.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity control domains (vulnerability management, network security, secure application controls, detection & response, data leakage prevention).
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
