Business Controller

About the role

An established global retail organisation is looking for a Business Controller to join its regional Finance team in Singapore. The role combines financial planning, analysis and business partnering, with a focus on supporting senior stakeholders and driving Finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support regional financial planning, forecasting and reporting, delivering meaningful analysis of business performance and key variances.
• Act as a finance business partner to corporate and commercial functions, providing financial insights and evaluating the impact of initiatives.
• Strengthen planning and reporting processes, improve efficiency and support broader digital transformation within Finance.
• Own and maintain the organisation's Anaplan budgeting and forecasting environment, including model development, stakeholder support and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 5 years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A or Commercial Finance.
• Strong financial analysis and business partnering capabilities.
• Commercially minded, analytical and proactive, able to translate complex financial data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced regional environment and collaborating across functions and geographies.
