Business Development Manager (Hunter Role)

About the role

AGX Logistics Singapore is seeking a full‑time Business Development Manager (Hunter Role) to join its team on a hybrid basis. Based in Singapore, you will focus on identifying and securing new business across the company’s logistics portfolio, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and specialised cargo services.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and nurture leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct client meetings, deliver presentations and prepare tailored proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate contracts in line with company guidelines and ensure smooth onboarding with operations and customer service teams.
• Monitor market trends, track performance metrics and report results to management.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to maintain high service standards for new clients.

Required profile

• Proven business development and sales experience with a hunter mindset, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding or related sectors.
• Strong client relationship management, stakeholder engagement and consultative selling abilities.
• Solid understanding of international logistics operations such as customs brokerage, warehousing, distribution and special cargo handling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate value propositions.
• Analytical and planning capabilities for pipeline management and revenue forecasting.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple opportunities in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Proficiency with standard business software and CRM tools.
• Prior experience in the Singapore logistics market is an advantage.
