Business Development Manager – Singapore

About the role

Populix is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead new‑client acquisition and revenue growth in Singapore. The role combines prospecting, solution design, and deal closure while collaborating with senior leadership and the Indonesia‑based research and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and originate new business opportunities across corporates, MNCs, agencies, consultancies and related organisations.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiation, closing and hand‑over for delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with marketing, insights, strategy and commercial functions of prospective clients.
• Work closely with Populix senior management and Indonesia research, panel, technology and operations teams to craft tailored proposals.
• Actively prospect and expand Populix’s network in Singapore through meetings, industry events, referrals and other channels.
• Develop referral and channel partnerships that generate qualified leads.
• Support the Singapore team in raising Populix’s visibility through events, thought leadership and client‑facing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, market research, consulting, advertising or media.
• Proven track record in B2B sales, lead generation, new client acquisition or account management.
• Highly commercial, proactive and results‑oriented with the ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
