Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will join E‑Freight’s Singapore team to generate new revenue streams aligned with the company’s growth strategy. Working on‑site, you will combine market insight with consultative selling to turn prospects into long‑term customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify high‑potential freight forwarding opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations and pricing quotations.
• Maintain and nurture a robust sales pipeline, tracking performance metrics.
• Coordinate with operations, pricing and contract teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
• Follow up on inquiries, negotiate contracts and support post‑sale relationship management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create synergies and maximise business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or related logistics sector.
• Strong understanding of container freight markets.
• Proven record of consultative selling and achieving revenue targets.
• Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• Eligibility: Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident.
