Calibration Technician

About the role

Element is seeking a Calibration Technician to support its testing laboratory by ensuring that all measuring and test equipment remains accurate, reliable, and compliant with ISO/IEC 17025 and SAC standards. The role involves hands‑on calibration, maintenance, and documentation of laboratory instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calibration of measuring, testing and monitoring equipment according to established procedures and schedules.
• Verify instrument accuracy using reference equipment and conduct pre‑ and post‑calibration checks.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs with vendors or internal teams.
• Maintain accurate calibration records, ensure traceability to national or international standards, and update asset management registries.
• Monitor calibration due dates, tag calibrated equipment, and manage out‑of‑tolerance items.

Required profile

• Diploma (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of experience in a similar calibration role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.

Required skills
