Captain – Restaurant Front‑of‑House

About the role

Le Bon Funk, a vibrant neighbourhood wine bar in Holland Village, is looking for a dedicated Captain to lead the front‑of‑house team. You will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring every guest leaves happy and satisfied with a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant for opening and closing, including setting up tables with the correct crockery, silverware, glasses and napkins.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the dining area at all times.
• Stand by the pass to pick up and present dishes, explaining ingredients and optimal ways to enjoy each plate.
• Anticipate guest needs, refresh tables with finesse after main courses, and handle any special requests.
• Set up and break down tables, restock supplies, operate the glassware dishwasher and perform other cleaning duties as required.
