About the role
The Checker Specialist ensures smooth handling of all inbound and outbound shipments, acting as the central point of contact for customers and internal teams. This role supports order fulfilment, shipment coordination and compliance with safety and quality standards within DSV’s logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the focal point for all shipment inquiries, both inbound and outbound.
- Coordinate internally to guarantee order fulfilment and timely dispatch.
- Liaise with forwarders and transporters to meet delivery and collection requirements.
- Oversee shipping arrangements, cargo release, and closure of shipments.
- Manage customer complaints and provide accurate reports to customers and supervisors.
- Execute system transactions for receiving and order fulfilment activities.
- Prepare pick lists and maintain documentation and record retention according to established requirements.
- Ensure work safety, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and adherence to quality policies and procedures.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping to 5S standards.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of logistics operating processes and ability to comply with them.
- Attention to detail in documentation, record keeping and safety compliance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, forwarders and internal teams.
