Chef de Partie – Executive Lounge

About the role

The Executive Lounge at Marriott International is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to deliver high‑quality dishes and support the culinary team. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring every plate meets the brand’s standards for taste, presentation, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters and maintain food logs.
• Thaw frozen items, portion, arrange, and garnish dishes accurately.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, communicate needs during busy periods, and inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Update service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching as needed.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant culinary experience.
• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification in culinary arts.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work long periods standing, lift up to 25 lb, and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen operations.
