Commercial Counsel – APAC

About the role

Mixpanel is seeking a licensed Singapore‑based attorney to join its global Legal team as a Commercial Counsel for the APAC region. You will work directly with product, engineering, security and business units to support commercial contracts, data privacy, and partnership agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and negotiate technology‑related commercial agreements, including master services, SaaS, data processing addenda, data security addenda and NDAs.
• Draft, negotiate and structure vendor and partnership agreements as needed.
• Design, implement and iterate on AI‑driven legal initiatives, policies, processes and procedures.
• Provide pragmatic legal and strategic support on cross‑functional projects.
• Advise teams on compliance with global laws, regulations, best practices and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security and other units to embed privacy‑by‑design principles.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating inbound and outbound commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts.
• Experience negotiating data protection agreements and advising on data privacy matters.
• Familiarity with product and regulatory counseling for healthcare, financial services, consumer protection and data security.
• Positive, friendly and collaborative attitude with high professional standards.
• Strong project‑management skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
