Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen our security posture and protect our information assets. The role involves working with technical teams and business stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS and firewalls.
• Investigate security incidents, conduct threat detection and lead incident response activities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, remediation and manage vulnerability management tools.
• Support network, endpoint and application security initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement security controls and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, SOC or related roles.
• Strong understanding of network, endpoint, application and information security principles.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience in security incident investigation, threat detection and incident response.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, routing and network security concepts.
• Knowledge of IAM, MFA, privileged access management and access‑control principles.
• Understanding of common cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors and security frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and problem‑solving skills.
