Director of Business Development – CRO Services & Software Solutions

About the role

Emmes Group is seeking a senior business development leader to expand its CRO services and AI‑enabled software solutions portfolio. This remote position is open to candidates residing in Singapore or South Korea and involves frequent travel to customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across Emmes’ CRO and technology offerings.
• Achieve revenue targets by securing net‑new customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Position Emmes as a trusted partner for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, government, academic and healthcare organisations.
• Sell standalone SaaS, AI‑as‑a‑Service, and integrated clinical research solutions.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships to drive long‑term growth.

Required profile

• Proven track record in new‑business development within the bio‑pharma, life‑sciences or clinical‑research sector.
• Experience selling SaaS, AIaaS or CRO services to large organisations.
• Deep understanding of clinical trial processes and related technology solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to operate as a hunter‑type salesperson.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and reside in Singapore or South Korea.
