Engineer (II) – MEP Project Coordination

About the role

We are looking for an Engineer (II) to support the execution of building construction projects in Singapore. The role involves coordinating MEP services, managing subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager, Senior Manager, site engineers and safety team to ensure timely project delivery.
• Arrange and supervise site works performed by subcontractors, monitoring progress and quality.
• Coordinate drafting team and liaise with main contractors, subcontractors and vendors on MEP services and shop drawings.
• Prepare, review and check shop drawings and submittals, obtaining approvals from relevant parties.
• Attend site meetings with owners, consultants and contractors, and provide updates on operations and coordination.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections, participate in WSH meetings and promote a strong safety mindset.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, and take preventive or remedial actions to avoid delays.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
• BCSS (Building Construction Safety Supervisor) certification.
• Familiarity with Singapore Building Code of Practices and BCA Green Mark requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure, strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office.
• Knowledge of BIM and Naviswork.
