Senior Architect

About the role

The Senior Architect will lead the design from concept through implementation and hand‑over, ensuring compliance with local authority codes and sustainability targets. The role also involves producing tender documentation and supporting the architectural team throughout fast‑track projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Work Package Owner, driving package progress, QA/QC, and final hand‑over documentation.
• Chair sub‑contractor progress meetings and weekly client meetings for the Architectural Department.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance engineers to align supervision goals with specifications.
• Mentor junior architects and ensure the Architectural System Supervisor receives approved plans and briefings.
• Promote safe working practices and uphold company interests across pricing, design, construction, commissioning, and acceptance phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture (preferably BOA‑accredited) or Bachelor of Science Architecture (Hons).
• 7‑8 years of professional architectural experience, including at least 2 years on fast‑track projects in high‑tech sectors such as semiconductor, healthcare, or biotech.
• Minimum three years of international experience and two years in a leading architectural role on fast‑track projects.
• Proven experience managing staff, coaching, and implementing change strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Certifications such as BCA Green Mark Manager, BCA Universal Design Assessor.
• LEED‑AP accreditation.
• WELLS‑AP certification.
• Design for Safety expertise.
