Engineer, Mobile Security Operations

About the role

The Engineer, Mobile Security Operations will support the daily operation of Singtel's mobile network security systems. You will lead installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance activities while ensuring the network remains resilient against emerging cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain mobile security systems.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures.
• Conduct regular network security audits and cybersecurity exercises.
• Activate and execute disaster recovery plans during service disruptions to minimise downtime and revenue loss.
• Develop cybersecurity playbooks, business continuity plans and incident response procedures.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) and manage remediation of findings.
• Provide after‑hours support for upgrades and patch deployments that may affect services.
• Engage with vendors to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Identify automation opportunities within network security operations.
• Administer provisioning and de‑provisioning of mobile network 2FA and PIAM accounts.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IP Networking, Telecommunications or Mobile Communications.
• Relevant certifications in automation, networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) and network security are preferred.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, NIST framework and Linux operating systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, critical thinking and collaborative teamwork.
