Facilities Technician

About the role

The Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring that building systems and equipment operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and support daily maintenance activities while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment faults to minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing and system diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare service reports.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to support maintenance operations.
• Comply with workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• NITEC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant maintenance experience is an advantage.
