F&B Commis Chef – Chinese Restaurant (Pre‑Opening)

About the role

Join the pre‑opening team of a new Chinese restaurant at Marina Bay Sands as an F&B Commis Chef. You will work under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs, supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring high‑quality food service for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Follow instructions from senior chefs to prepare and present dishes according to recipes.
• Monitor food production for compliance with portion, presentation, and quality standards.
• Maintain sanitation, apply FIFO inventory practices, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Keep workstations clean, report maintenance issues, and adhere to health, safety, and fire procedures.
• Participate in training sessions and demonstrate a positive, professional attitude.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Professional grooming and ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Reliability in attendance and punctuality.

• Knife handling and basic culinary equipment use.
