Finance Manager – Asia

About the role

Wise is seeking a Finance Manager for the Asia region to join its Regional Finance team in Singapore. You will strengthen regional finance capabilities, oversee performance and controls across Asian legal entities, and ensure compliance with local accounting, regulatory and tax requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial oversight of Asia legal entities, analysing performance and monitoring capital and liquidity controls.
• Lead regulatory and financial reporting, coordinating monthly, quarterly and annual submissions and ad‑hoc reports.
• Monitor regulatory capital requirements to keep entities appropriately capitalised.
• Lead finance and statutory audits, coordinating information for regulatory examinations and group audits.
• Partner with Finance, Banking, Compliance, Risk, Legal and Product teams to align reporting, systems and processes with regional needs.
• Drive improvements to finance processes, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate reporting.
• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support regional finance initiatives as Wise scales across Asia.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in financial control, audit, financial reporting, management accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP and solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience owning or supporting financial reporting, statutory audits or regulatory requirements.
• Strong financial analysis skills with confidence working on large, complex datasets.
• Proven ability to partner with senior internal stakeholders across functions.
