Founding Senior Sales Development Representative

About the role

Paperbase is building a privacy‑forward memory layer for organizations and is looking for its first senior sales hire. As the Founding Senior Sales Development Representative you will create and own the outbound engine that feeds the CEO and engineering team with qualified conversations across enterprise accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target a named set of CIOs, CTOs, and managing partners in PE/VC, legal, financial services, and defence.
• Design and execute the full outbound motion: list building, research, personalized messaging, and multi‑channel sequences (email, LinkedIn, calls).
• Book qualified first‑meeting appointments for the CEO and the Forward‑Deployed Engineer.
• Document every sequence, template, and objection handling in a playbook that can be scaled.
• Maintain pipeline records and provide regular progress updates to the CEO.
• Feed messaging insights back to product and leadership to refine the go‑to‑market approach.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of sales development or outbound experience with a proven record of generating qualified pipeline.
• Experience building or designing outbound motions from scratch.
• Founder‑level energy, strong judgment, and a bias for rapid execution.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and taking end‑to‑end ownership.

Required skills

• Outbound sales techniques (list building, research, multi‑channel outreach).
• Experience with email, LinkedIn, and phone prospecting.
