Front-End Central Process Integration Engineer / Senior Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Front-End Central Process Integration Engineer to lead and support process improvements across its semiconductor fabs. The role focuses on enhancing product yields, reliability, and overall fab performance while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with multi‑functional network teams (PIE, Process & Equipment Engineering, WLR, TD) to boost yields and reliability.
• Travel to Micron sites worldwide to foster collaboration and drive execution.
• Communicate module‑related issues to fab engineering and leadership.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments aimed at improving fab processes, yield, and quality.
• Collect and interpret complex data to optimize processes.
• Lead cross‑area engineering teams to resolve process challenges.
• Coordinate with global partners on module topics and alignment projects.
• Collaborate with other PI module owners and sister fabs for business process alignment.
• Work with IE, Process & Equipment Engineering, and Production to forecast and balance yield and output.
• Promote benchmarking and standardization of best‑known methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron preferred.
