Frontend Developer (Mid‑Senior)

About the role

ASTEK is looking for a Mid‑Senior Frontend Developer to join its Singapore team. You will design and deliver responsive web applications for large industrial and services groups, working with modern front‑end technologies and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using React.js, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Ensure accessibility and optimal performance across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
• Support build and deployment pipelines for AWS‑hosted front‑ends.
• Remediate security findings such as XSS, unsafe token handling and input validation issues.
• Write and maintain unit tests, UI automation and regression test suites.
• Create reusable components and work with design systems.
• Integrate front‑ends with REST APIs and manage state and routing in React.
• Build dashboards using charting libraries (Chart.js, Recharts, ECharts, etc.).
• Implement authentication flows, token handling and role‑based UI behavior.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3‑4 years of professional front‑end or full‑stack development experience.
• Proven experience delivering responsive, accessible web applications.
• Familiarity with cloud‑hosted web apps, especially AWS S3/CloudFront and API Gateway.
