Group Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Group Accountant to join the finance team of a leading FMCG company operating from its regional hub in Singapore. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage the full set of accounts and lead the financial consolidation for a group of companies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for multiple entities.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial consolidation in line with statutory regulations.
• Produce management reports, cash‑flow forecasts and bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and tax filings.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes.
• Support the rollout and optimisation of SAP within the finance function.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting or finance and a CA qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on accounting and consolidation experience, preferably with exposure to a Big 4 environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a lean team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
