Head of Tax – Singapore Hub

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Tax Director for SAPMENA, you will lead tax strategy and risk mitigation for L’Oréal’s Singapore hub (OneSG) and selected ASEAN markets. The role combines high‑level business partnership with hands‑on tax execution, acting as the trusted advisor to entity CFOs and the regional tax team.

Key responsibilities

• Guide CFOs and accounting teams on direct and indirect tax compliance, Pillar Two, Country‑by‑Country Reporting and internal tax forecasting.
• Partner with the Regional Tax Director and local markets to design tax‑efficient structures and support commercial projects.
• Drive transfer‑pricing policy implementation, maintain local documentation and negotiate tax incentives with authorities.
• Oversee ERP tax configuration and e‑invoicing roll‑outs across designated ASEAN jurisdictions.
• Lead tax audits, rulings and dispute resolution, building strong relationships with tax authorities.
• Coordinate cross‑functional tax initiatives and monitor emerging tax legislation for business impact.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in tax regulation and compliance across ASEAN markets.
• Proven ability to operate in a matrixed, multinational environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess tax risks and opportunities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of ASEAN tax laws, Pillar Two and CbCR requirements.
• Transfer‑pricing expertise and experience with tax incentive negotiations.
• Familiarity with ERP tax determination and e‑invoicing systems.
• Ability to lead tax audits and manage relationships with tax authorities.
