ICT & SS Auditor – Internal Audit

About the role

GovTech is seeking an ICT & SS Auditor to be seconded to the Auditor‑General’s Office (AGO). The role involves conducting IT audits of government ICT systems and processes to support the audit of the Government Financial Statements and other public‑sector audits.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the Singapore government ICT environment, emerging technologies and relevant control frameworks.
• Assist project leads in planning and executing IT audits, including identifying control weaknesses, gathering audit evidence, and preparing working papers.
• Interview auditees, analyse system configurations and perform system‑logs analysis to support audit conclusions.
• Work with auditees to assess internal processes, recommend improvements and validate remediation actions.
• Draft audit reports that clearly communicate observations, concerns and recommendations.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in government ICT and audit processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi‑agency environment.
• Willingness to undergo an intensive 3‑6 month training programme.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology.
• Experience analysing system configurations and system logs.
