Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure in a business‑critical environment. The ideal candidate enjoys solving production issues, follows clear processes, and ensures reliable operation of Windows, Linux, VMware, storage, backup, monitoring and security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Windows Server, RHEL/Linux, VMware, servers, storage, firewalls and monitoring tools.
• Monitor system health, respond to alerts and troubleshoot infrastructure incidents.
• Perform patching, OS upgrades, firmware updates and planned infrastructure changes.
• Oversee backup, recovery and replication activities to guarantee data availability.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement preventive actions for recurring issues.
• Enforce security controls, access management and infrastructure hardening.
• Collaborate with internal IT, application, security teams, vendors and service providers to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, system diagrams, maintenance logs and change records.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure administration or systems support.
• Proven ability to work within structured processes, security controls and production support expectations.
• Strong communication skills and attention to accurate documentation.
