iOS Software Engineer II

About the role

foodpanda is looking for a dynamic iOS Software Engineer II to join its Growth domain in Singapore. You will work with an international team to create high‑impact mobile experiences that drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth across the food‑delivery journey.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle for iOS features, from design and coding to testing, deployment, and release.
• Act as the product owner for your vertical, prioritising improvements and handling maintenance tasks.
• Participate in architectural decisions and ensure code quality through peer reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to deliver maximum value to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 4‑6 years of professional mobile software development experience.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to design scalable, high‑performance applications for large user bases.

Required skills

• Swift programming language.
• Experience with MVVM and VIPER architectural patterns.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and software design patterns.
• High‑performance testing, optimisation, and scalability techniques.
• Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for iOS.
