IT Operations Executive

About the role

Open Government Products (OGP) is looking for an IT Operations Executive on a 1‑year fixed‑term contract. You will own the execution layer of IT services – service desk, device management, onboarding/off‑boarding and documentation – reporting to the IT Manager and collaborating closely with the Workplace team.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all IT requests via ticketing system, Slack and email, triaging and resolving issues.
• Handle password resets, MFA problems and basic Okta troubleshooting.
• Support staff with SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, 1Password, Slack and Notion.
• Troubleshoot macOS hardware and software issues, including connectivity and peripheral setup.
• Provide first‑level support for meeting‑room AV equipment and displays.
• Execute onboarding checklists for new hires and manage off‑boarding processes.
• Maintain the hardware register, track device lifecycle, warranty status and coordinate repairs.
• Create and update Knowledge Base articles, runbooks and self‑service guides.

Required profile

• Proficient in supporting macOS hardware and common enterprise tools (Okta, Google Workspace, 1Password, Slack).
• Strong aptitude for learning and investigating unfamiliar technical problems.
• Clear and effective communication with staff and the IT manager.
