IT Systems Officer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Systems Officer to design, implement and enhance Microsoft 365 solutions that support our business and operational needs. The role involves managing the Microsoft 365 environment, providing Level 1 and Level 2 support, and ensuring the security, reliability and performance of our IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and improve Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Administer and secure the Microsoft 365 environment, including Intune and Defender configurations.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support both onsite and remotely.
• Monitor system health, performance and security through regular checks and testing.
• Coordinate hardware deployment, lifecycle management and maintain asset inventory.
• Execute system updates, backups and restoration activities to keep systems operational.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues and enhance user experience.
• Facilitate IT onboarding and offboarding, managing accounts, devices and access.
• Maintain technical documentation and support procurement, after‑hours and overseas assistance when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience delivering Level 1/Level 2 IT support in a medium‑sized or large enterprise.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 environments.
• Minimum 2 years of exposure to network and firewall solutions.
• Strong customer service, communication and analytical abilities; willingness to provide after‑hours standby support and travel overseas when needed.
