IT/Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

The IT/Desktop Support Engineer provides technical assistance for client platforms, ensuring incidents are resolved promptly and service levels are maintained. This entry‑level position supports healthcare environments and participates in platform implementation and upgrade projects.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot client platform issues, providing temporary or permanent resolutions.
• Respond to incidents, update stakeholders, and document status throughout the lifecycle.
• Handle service requests, monitor agreed service levels, and maintain system configuration records.
• Generate regular reports on platform performance and changes.
• Participate in platform implementation, upgrade, and presales activities.
• Conduct research and evaluation of platform tools and provide technical advice to customers or project teams.
• Manage change requests, track status, and ensure compliance with change management processes.
• Gather business and application requirements, perform infrastructure requirement analysis, and design solutions.
• Apply facility management standards to ensure consistent operations across projects.

Required profile

• Good command of English for communication with various entities.
• Minimum qualification: NITEC/Higher NITEC or D3 (or equivalent).
• IT‑savvy with a basic understanding of information technology concepts.
• Comfortable working in a healthcare environment.
• Willingness to receive MMR and TDAP vaccines (claimable).
• Less than 1 year of experience or fresh graduate.
