Key Account Manager

About the role

Monotype is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to own the renewal and upsell process for its enterprise customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping global brands maximize the value of Monotype’s type and technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with existing enterprise customers across assigned territories to understand needs and present Monotype’s value proposition.
• Negotiate and close strategic renewal deals, meeting personal sales quotas and targets.
• Develop detailed account plans that identify renewal and upsell opportunities.
• Upsell and cross‑sell additional solutions to key accounts, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and contracts.
• Maintain accurate client and prospect data in the CRM system.
• Communicate solutions to C‑level stakeholders using value‑based selling, ROI analysis, and business case development.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, finance, sales, and technical support to align renewal strategies.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to renewals and upselling.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles from demo through negotiation and closing.
• Experience in software, technology, publishing, media, advertising, or design markets is preferred.
