Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Learning & Development Manager to nurture a strong learning culture within our luxury hospitality portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner with business heads to design and deliver development programmes that build capability, support succession planning, and attract future talent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual L&D strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify competency gaps and create targeted training solutions for performance and leadership growth.
• Manage the training budget and leverage government funding schemes.
• Oversee corporate training, in‑house WSQ programmes, brand training and e‑learning platforms.
• Ensure completion of mandatory training and regulatory compliance.
• Lead internship, traineeship and management trainee programmes in collaboration with educational institutions.
• Act as liaison with government agencies on training grants, audits and accreditation.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and service‑excellence programmes.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in HR, Hospitality, Organisational Development or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Learning & Development experience, preferably in hospitality.
• ACTA or Certified Train‑the‑Trainer accreditation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the WSQ framework and government‑funded training schemes.
• Proven ability to design, facilitate and evaluate impactful learning programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
