Lecturer – Electronics (Full‑time)

About the role

The School of Engineering seeks an experienced Electronics Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching to full‑time diploma students and part‑time adult learners. You will shape curriculum, mentor students, and collaborate with industry partners on projects and internships.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, labs and tutorials for subjects such as Power System Analysis, Smart Grid Technology, Electrical Design and Installation.
• Design and develop curriculum, courseware and e‑learning modules for both full‑time and part‑time programmes.
• Supervise and assess student projects, internships and industry‑linked research.
• Utilise IT tools and multimedia platforms to enhance learning engagement.
• Counsel and mentor students on academic progress, competitions and career development.
• Participate in academic administration, committee work and outreach initiatives.
• Lead and manage industry‑partner projects, including student internships and capability‑development programmes.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical power systems and hands‑on experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Self‑motivated with a commitment to continuous learning.
