Lecturer – Pastry & Baking

About the role

The college is seeking a Lecturer to teach pastry and baking courses. You will guide students in developing practical skills, creativity and professional standards while fostering a love for lifelong learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, workshops and practical sessions on pastry and baking.
• Design and update curriculum, recipes and assessment materials.
• Lead industry or consultancy projects to keep content current.
• Maintain strong links with culinary industry partners and arrange student attachments.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience in pastry and baking.
• Preferably recognised with awards in culinary competitions (pastry/desserts category).
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.
• Team‑player attitude and willingness to engage with industry partners.

• Recipe formulation and development.
• Proficiency with modern kitchen equipment.
