Lifecycle Engineer – Technical Support & Reliability

About the role

Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Lifecycle Engineer to join its Engineering for Services team in Seletar, Singapore. The role provides technical support for in‑service engines, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the product lifecycle and enhancing safety, reliability and cost‑effectiveness for operators across APAC and Greater China.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Technical Authority to ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
• Provide technical support for operational queries, lead root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions using the 8D framework.
• Conduct technical surveillance, quality‑assurance audits and reliability performance monitoring using statistical analysis.
• Model product performance, predict deterioration mechanisms and develop engine health‑monitoring diagnostics.
• Prepare and deliver technical publications, reports and presentations to customers, regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional teams including specialists, suppliers and partners.

Required profile

• Engineering or numerical degree (or equivalent experience).

Required skills

• Statistical analysis and reliability modelling.
• Root‑cause investigation (8D methodology).
• Risk assessment and failure‑rate modelling.
• Engine health‑monitoring diagnostics development.
