Lineside Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lineside Engineer to provide on‑site technical support for our engine overhaul and component repair operations. The role ensures smooth workflow during shifts and contributes to meeting delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical support to Operations, resolving day‑to‑day technical issues during shifts.
• Liaise with the Rolls‑Royce Engineering Team to obtain dispositions and approvals for Technical Variances arising from inspection findings.
• Develop and issue ad‑hoc work instructions to address operational requirements and technical challenges.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement solutions to boost efficiency, quality and productivity.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or relevant Diploma with experience).
• Good knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) processes and technical publications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork.
• Willingness to work on‑site on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends.
