About the role
This temporary position is for a Staff Nurse working in the Eye Clinic Day Ward on a Monday‑Friday schedule during office hours. The role involves delivering nursing care, supporting surgical procedures, and ensuring compliance with infection‑control standards in a busy outpatient setting.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nursing and ophthalmic procedures in line with established guidelines.
- Coordinate and prepare surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for the daily surgical list.
- Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care for eye surgery patients.
- Maintain housekeeping standards according to Infection Control policies.
Required profile
- Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Minimum of 6 months nursing experience, preferably in an eye‑clinic or surgical environment.
