Maintenance & Reliability Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance & Reliability Technician to join our plant on Jurong Island, Singapore. The role focuses on ensuring the integrity and availability of fixed and rotating equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on pressure vessels, tanks, piping and civil structures, including visual inspections and condition monitoring.
• Analyze inspection data, raise SAP work orders, and develop repair procedures with NDT and hydro‑test requirements in line with the company QA/QC manual.
• Document equipment maintenance and inspection records in the Asset Performance Management (APM) system.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors and NDT companies to carry out field inspections and condition monitoring tasks.
• Support urgent production issues related to equipment reliability, respond to leaks and ensure repairs meet standards.
• Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITP) submitted by contractors and endorse NDT results and quality‑control packages.

Required profile

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a refinery or petrochemical environment.
• Strong knowledge of fixed‑equipment and piping inspection, repair, installation, welding inspection and non‑destructive testing.
• High safety awareness, familiarity with permit‑to‑work systems and JSRA preparation.
• Effective oral and written communication skills across all organisational levels.
