Manufacturing Engineer - Special process

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer – Special Processes supports and improves incoming inspection and special process activities for industrial gas turbine component repair. The role ensures safety, quality compliance, and operational efficiency while collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support incoming inspection report review, Auto Inspection System (AIS), blue‑light scanning and NDT inspections.
• Conduct cross‑qualification of special processes related to incoming inspection for gas turbine component repair.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Work with the Engineering team on technical and operational issues.
• Identify and implement projects to improve production quality and process performance.
• Support operations with troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and problem solving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or related engineering roles.
• Experience with special processes such as thermal spraying, heat treatment and chemical processing.
• Familiarity with process qualification, validation and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards.
