Mechanical Engineer – Building Services

About the role

Aurecon is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join its Singapore Buildings business. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to turn innovative ideas into reality across a variety of building and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support projects from initial scoping through detailed design, commissioning and handover.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, cost estimates and tender documents.
• Engage with clients and internal teams to negotiate and secure commercially viable outcomes.
• Provide consultancy advice drawing on Aurecon’s expertise and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong interest in building services, sustainable and energy‑efficient design.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; relevant experience in building mechanical design is a plus.
• Proactive, able to work independently or within a team, with good communication skills.

Required skills

• High computer literacy; exposure to BIM/Revit is highly desired.
• Advanced problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles in a consulting environment.
