Microsoft System Engineer – Modern Workplace

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Modern Workplace Engineer to own the Microsoft 365, endpoint and identity backbone for a mid‑to‑enterprise environment. You will lead Intune, Entra ID, hybrid AD, patching and automation for several hundred users and devices while partnering closely with security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Full administration of Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange) and endpoint management via Intune, MDM/MAM and compliance baselines.
• Lead patch roll‑outs, application deployments and device lifecycle management from Autopilot provisioning to retirement, with pilot waves and rollback plans.
• Manage Entra ID and hybrid AD – user and group provisioning, MFA, Conditional Access and access troubleshooting.
• Develop PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripts to automate routine tasks and accelerate remediation.
• Implement approved endpoint hardening (Defender, BitLocker, ASR) and provide audit‑ready compliance evidence.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in modern workplace, endpoint management or desktop engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID.
• Proven track record supporting an enterprise‑scale device/user base.
• Strong PowerShell/Graph scripting abilities and deep knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Relevant certification such as Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate is a plus.
