Software Architect – Lead End-to-End System Design

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture of complex, mission‑critical systems. The role combines solution architecture, hands‑on engineering, system integration, security, and technical leadership, working closely with development teams, customers, and technology partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end software and system architecture across applications, middleware, data, networking, and security.
• Assess existing architectures and drive improvements in performance, scalability, resilience, and security.
• Lead integration of complex subsystems, APIs, messaging platforms, sensors, and third‑party solutions.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point and define high availability, redundancy, and failover strategies.
• Provide hands‑on technical support during integration, testing, FAT/SAT, and production implementation.
• Lead design and code reviews and establish software engineering and CI/CD standards.
• Embed security‑by‑design principles and support hardening, VA/PT remediation, and security accreditation.
• Support solutioning, technical proposals, architecture presentations, and effort estimation during pre‑sales.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of software/system engineering experience, including 3+ years in an architecture role.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering complex systems end‑to‑end.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers, management, developers, and vendors.
