About the role
Google Pay is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to join its Singapore‑based team that powers core features for millions of users in India. You will own key product areas, building and scaling new features while ensuring reliability, performance and a seamless user experience.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain key surfaces within the Flutter‑based Google Pay app, focusing on feature implementation, performance optimisation and UI development.
- Integrate remote procedure calls (RPC) and ensure reliable communication between front‑end and back‑end services.
- Write high‑quality, well‑tested, maintainable code in Android/iOS, Flutter, Java and Dart.
- Own end‑to‑end user flows, handling business logic, performance and latency considerations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- Experience developing mobile applications on Android, iOS or using Flutter.
- Ability to work effectively with product managers and UX designers.
